There was a Liberty Bell replica at the bottom of a hill behind this 3 story house on 39th near corner of University and 39th; I’d sneak down there sometimes in the 40ies, and ring that gong and run like hell. Also two original cabins with original furnishings set further back into the property, on other side of creek, dated maybe 1700’s or 1800’s. I could go inside anytime I wanted and explore the cabins and the property. It was paradise for me; an escape from my abusive grandmother who was raising me.
