Nevada Liberty Bell replica
Location: Nevada State Museum (outside the front entrance on the right side)
600 N Carson Street
Carson City, NV 89701
Serial Number: 5 (The number is stamped on the crown and the cannons directly above the P in Proclaim. It does not have the vast number on the shoulder of the bell).
Can I ring it? No, not usually. But if you’re there on the Fourth of July, the Battle Born Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution holds a celebration where the public is free to ring the bell.
Hours: 24/7 (outdoors).

The replica Liberty Bell has been moved to the Nevada State Museum front entrance on the right side.
Address is:
600 N Carson St, Carson City, NV 89701.
Ed, Thanks for the update. Is it still outside or has it been moved inside the front entrance?
The bell is outside in the courtyard of the state museum. It doesn’t have the bar brace across the front but it is in the back. The clapper is not in the bell. There is a number 5 stamped on the crown and the cannons directly above the P in Proclaim. It does not have the cast number on the shoulder of the bell. I have pictures taken 6/18/23
Thanks Andrew,
I’ve updated the page and hope to write the full story soon. I’d love to see the photos if you’d like to share. You can email to [email protected].
Usually Battle Born Chapter of the the Sons of the American Revolution host a ceremony and public ringing on the 4th of July. At this ceremony the public is allowed to ring the bell.
Dave, Thanks for the info. I’ll update the listing.
